My story

As a little girl, I got to know sewing during an introductory lesson at school. I found it special to see how you could make something beautiful from simple pieces of fabric. That sense of wonder has always stayed with me.

Years later, I discovered how much I enjoyed decorating special moments beautifully. From birthdays of children in the family to holidays such as Sinterklaas and Christmas. What started as a creative hobby slowly grew into something much more beautiful.

I started designing and making more and more myself. Working with fabrics, colours and shapes gave me so much joy that I decided to share my creations with others as well.

The incredibly kind and enthusiastic reactions I received touched me. They gave me the confidence and motivation to take a step further and turn my passion into something special.

That is how Elif and Linen came to be. A place where I can share my love for design and handwork.
